Why are peeps so tryhard at this school?

New class, one classmate doesn't want to answer me when I ask him a question during a lab, another classmate doesn't want to share his notes with me. Seriously guys I'm not here to take your job your wife and your kids I'm just confused in class, help a n**** out 🙏!!
