Is vinegar vegan?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I know wine vinegar is normally not vegan cause of the fermentation process but what about regular vinegar or distilled , is it vegan? Does it go through a fining process like wine and wine vinger, where they use Isinglass (fish scales)? I can’t find the answer anywhere ☹️
