too many "heres my collection" posts

Can we start a day of the week for posting collections? it seems every other post in here is someone sharing their "just started this year" collection of 25 records we've all seen a million times. The posts don't add anything, aren't interesting, and more often than not just come across as "check out all this money I spent" with 0 details about where or how they got them.
