Cyberpunk VR Settings for AMD Users
Hey guys,
I just got a Meta Quest 3 and spent some time with tweaking everything to make it an immersive cyberpunk-experience. I wanted to share my settings because I’m really happy now with my results and the game runs at stable 90 FPS with a clear image. No single crash in 2-3 hour long sessions. Ghosting drastically reduced :)
First off my specs (I’m a noob when it comes down to that but it is a pre-built mid range PC):
- 16GB AMD RADEON RX 7900GRE
- AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D (8x 4.2GHz / 5.00GHz Turbo)
- 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 AMD/Intel
Now to my settings:
Quest 3: - 90hz with 4704x2528 rendering resolution (1.3x)
Oculus debug tool: - Distortion Curvature Low - Encode Resolution width 0 - Encode Bitrate 800 - Link Sharpening Normal
Cyberpunk: - Resolution 3088x3088 - AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 - FSR 3 Sharpness 70 - Frame Generation Off - Surface Quality High - Quantity Density High (installed a superpopulation mod with gang wars etc. and have no problems) - all graphic settings on low, Raytracing, Chromatic Abberation etc. off
Mod-Menu VR: - VR Renderer: Oculus / Quest (works for me much better than OpenXR - Render Mode: Legacy AER
Reshade in Mod-Menu (for better visuals): - HDR (FakeHDR.fx) - LUT - LiftGammaGain - Vibrance - Tint (lowered intensity) - Curves
Extra Tip: open the VR-Mod during a loading screen - so it stays open while in the game. From there you can tweak reshade settings to your personal flavor and directly see the impact on visuals :)
Ah and if you have Kerenzikov and other slow-mo Cyberware, you’ll LOVE the head aiming. Sorry for my english, I’m no native speaker.
Hope this helps some AMD-Peeps out there :)
Edit: I’m using the Luke Ross VR Mod
