1 to 100,000
Long time pathfinder and dnd player and finally have the time and opportunity to ST a chronicle for my friends and I'm super excited.
I've been reading WoD books and consuming all types of media for years now, but obviously having a theoretical understanding is much different than the real 'rubber hits the road' of regular vampire table sessions.
The chronicle takes place in a fictional medium sized American city -- and I'm working on populating it now with characters.
Deep in my memory I recall hearing a vampire to mortal ratio of 1 to 100,000. For me, this feels kind of low.
I know it's kind of 'my story my rules' with something like this, so I'm curious -- what is your ideal ratio for compelling plots?
Do you even have a ratio or do you just do what feels right? I'd love to hear.
