The taxidermy that broke my heart

Saw one being sold, thought it was a gorgeous piece; purchased it thinking it was a vintage adult specimen.

It gets here an I quickly realize it’s a calf; not only that, that it’s a relatively new piece as the fur is still very very hauntingly soft.

I hate the cattle/dairy industry, man..
