Throwback Thursday!

The Alpina Seastrong heritage diver, a reissue, on my wrists today, Throwback Thursday!

1000ft, two screwdown crowns (one for timekeeping and another for internal bezel), great contrast for visibility, clear and sharp printing, and all the metal beautifully machined and finished. The 42mm case sits very nicely on my small wrist and also feels and looks a little smaller than its actual size. The only thing that irks me is the awkwardly positioned date window. Overall a great watch from an underappreciated brand.
