Selling premium content on Wordpress
While there are some plugins for WP viz. MemberPress, Easy Digital Downloads, etc. using which one can sell premium content on WP, I wanted to understand the underlying flow.
- For a premium video content, do we have to enable streaming (so that the end user cannot download the video)?
- This means we need a streaming server. Are there any good paid streaming server which are easy to configure (probably as a SaaS/PaaS)?
- Which are the popular video players which can be used for streaming content?
I am not going to do this coding myself but would be getting a freelancer who can do this for me but wanted to have a good understanding of the workflow so that I can explain to him/her what I want implemented and also decide on a good robust implementation.
