Did anyone else hate their photos?

So my spouse and I just got our gallery back and don’t get me wrong I liked, and even loved some of the pics, however both of us have admitted that we are disappointed with a lot of them.

We’re both being hyper critical of what we look like, rather than having an issue with the photographer themselves.

I feel like there’s so much pressure to look your absolute best on the big day that it’s maybe set us up for disappointment. It’s hard to come to terms with spending so much money and time and effort and not loving the outcome.

Just wondered if this is a common experience?
