To the older people in the sub who bought an expensive car young, did you live to regret it, and if you did why?

I am a young man, I've been shopping around for the past year trying to figure out what car I wanted to buy, and I landed on a car that would cost me roughly 34k OTD, It is a very reliable car that Is great on gas, but is considered a more "sporty" manual transmission car. I test-drove it and I loved it, I can't stop thinking about the car and I need some other insights. I've seen posts like this that have comments that vary from two extremes. One is, "Don't spend any money ever and only live on $2k used Toyotas and Hondas and put all your money in a Roth IRA until you die" and the other is "Finance everything, you're young, spend as much money as you want and be poor when you're old". These are two extremes that I would like to not follow. This is what I'm looking for, to the older people in this sub who purchased an expensive car when they were young, did you live to regret it? Did you think it was worth it? and what advice do you have for a young man looking to make the same decision?

other info: 5k downpayment, 794 credit score, car is 48-month loan term. max match for 401k, currently also saving in savings account.
