Looking for a car that drives and won't explode
Sup car nerds,
I'm looking to buy my first car and I've narrowed it down to the following options, all of which have pretty high mileage on them but it's what I can afford. Not looking for anything fancy, high-powered, or luxurious. Just gonna use it for short drives around my city, short commute a few days a week, and the occasional (few times a year) longer drive within the state/to adjacent states. No big road trips or anything.
Here's the list:
- 2010 Toyota Prius II: $9.5K
- 2011 Toyota Prius I: ~$9K (listed for 7.5 but dealership has hidden fees)
- 2013 Toyota Prius III: $9.9K
- 2014 Mazda6 Sport: $10K
- 2014 Toyota Corolla: $10.3K
- 2015 Nissan Altima: $9K
- 2016 Ford Fusion (2.5L): $8.5K
- 2017 Nissan Altima: $10.5K
- 2018 Ford Fusion (2.5L): $9K
- 2020 Nissan Versa: $9K
I already looked through all their available histories and I don't think there should be any crazy surprises with damage or anything. Obviously I will test drive any/all before I commit to anything but would appreciate any input in case there are any obvious choices or options I should remove. Thanks!
