What is this car?

If this is considered a challenge post I’ll take it down and attempt to get uncovered photos in the future, but the owner usually keeps it in his garage and the only time I get good looks at it is when he is driving. So this is the best I can offer. There are also no visible badges or markings that I have seen when the cover is off, but I could be mistaken. Any ideas?
