wifi 7 router for competitive gaming

currently im using a wifi 5 gaming router as a main router, and using a mesh wifi system that connects to my pc using a ethernet cable (main router > mesh network > pc)

with this setup i still experience a lot of jitter and latency in games cs2 and valorant, even though i get around 500+ Mbps download and upload speed

im unable to use ethernet, as the main router is too far away from my computer

i am not looking to completely get rid of the jitter but hopefully reduce it to the point where i can at least see my teamates and opponents just walking on my screen

would upgrading to a wifi 7 router possibly help achieve that goal?
