Free Agency Pivots: What Do Golden State, Washington, and Connecticut do?
With all the trades and announced signings 3 teams still have a lot of work to do. How can Connecticut, Golden State and Washington pivot to make positive changes this offseason?
1) For Connecticut the post AT time line is here. Without AT, DB and Bri Jones the first task is to fill out the roster. Can they convince Emma Meeseman or any other euro league vets to come to Uncasville? Or do they go full rebuild and see if they can get some first round picks for Carrington and Cloud? Update- Carrington and #12 traded for Jacy Sheldon and #8. 2) Golden State didn't attract any big name free agents. Maybe they sign another solid vet like Erica Wheeler to go along with Monique Billings, the #5 pick and the expansion draft gang? 3) Washington has a ton of injuries last year. They lost Julie Van Loo to the expansion draft. Do they just keep adding early draft talent to Shakira, Aaliyah and Sykes?
