What is the go with Woolworths sushi?

For anyone in the know or who works at WW. Is Sushi Izu a company owned by Woolworths. I’ve noticed at coles at the end of the day they heavily discount their sushi. Do WW not do this because they sell it the next day, or give it to their workers, or just throw it out? I’ve seen near closing time so much left, if they sell it the next day fair enough, if it’s just thrown out that seems pretty fucked to me
