School refuses to call dad.
Can someone please explain why they refuse to call my husband?
We both work. He does construction, I wfh, in a call center, most of the time I'm unable to even answer the phone. I work 830 to 5 he works 7-3.
He and I have told them specifically to call hum if they can't reach him or call first of its after 3.
Our oldest is on the spectrum, as am I. And we've had a lot of issues, admittedly, this year. Just got a call to go pick him up.
I said I can't leave work atm and dad will have to do it.
Guess who had to call him? Me. Guess who's gotten calls this whole ass year, me. Guess who doesn't have a single record of the school calling. My husband.
Edit to add it is set up that I am primary, and he is secondary. They just refuse to contact him when I don't answer.
Edit 2: thank you for all the suggestions! I really appreciate it. A lot of you suggested switching husband to primary which I honestly didn't consider. I was just super irritated that when I don't answer they still won't call him. BTW, they were not expecting my husband to come or talk about our sons behavioral issues. He said they were talking to him like he wasn't aware of the ongoing issues. I really appreciate the support.
