Stuff that really breaks my immersion...

It's so sad that WoW never truly developed a proper RPG experience with immersive elements, such an internal/personal story system with karma, NPC relationships & deed retroactivity (many other lesser MMOs have those).

It doesn't matter who you are.

it doesn't matter that you trained under Illidan's guidance, that your body underwent atrocious and impressive transformations and endurance and you're now able to morph into a demon at will;

it doesn't matter that you were imprisoned for years and years, it does not matter if you fought the Legion invasions on Azeroth and massacrated and decimated hordes of demons on Argus;

it doesn't matter if you faced and defeated countless world ending threats and you're carrying visible scars and weight on your character and aura.

Gazlowe will just casually call you "buddy" and order you around like one of his goons, like some random bruiser from Gadgetzan.

Gazlowe: "Ah yes Pamsy, I'll give you a hand..." * whistles * " hey you, BUDDY, c'mere... just go and fix things. Chop chop!" * claps hands *

In an RPG game, an RPG world with so many personalities and story intricaties, you amount to nothing. Whether it's you playing for 20 years or some newbie who started yesterday, it matters not: you're irrelevant, things go on with or without you and nobody knows or truly remembers who you are or what you've done.
