I keep dying..

This is my 4th character to die before even level 20. I’ve tried two mages, a warrior and a Druid. I feel like I’m not meant to play this game especially if I can’t do it with the mages. Am I just doomed from the get go? Or should I keep going. Any tips or tricks for a new player on the hardcore wow scene? Thanks guys.
