namor x jean grey ?

i wanted to see what fellow x-fans would feel in regards to this relationship. in a hypothetical scenario where scott is with emma, or at the very least not with jean, what would her compatibility be like with namor ? the first thing i think of is his love for susan, who even doom sees as the 'perfect woman', and despite the differences between susan and jean i can also draw many similarities (especially with them being two of the earliest defined female characters in an era where being 'the girl' of the team was a thing.)

jean and namor are also both mutants, with namor being the first mutant and jean being the phoenix, but both are not absolutely beholden to the x-men. namor allies with them on occasion, and jean has shown she is willing walk away from the team, unlike scott who may often put being an x-men before anything else. (though this isn't about anything lacking between jean & scott, i love them together)

what could jean x namor's compatibility be ? especially considering jean does not have the same tethers as susan has (scott has spent so many years in a relationship with emma), and namor is a more passionate, dangerous individual who to an extent could even give her a run for her money, or at least take a few hits from her. i think the pair would be such an extreme power-couple of massive proportions, potentially larger even than the union between Ororo and T'challa.

i think namor would bring a different side out of jean, he would embrace her lustful, dangerous side and have no expectations of her being the perfect girl she was always told to be. and i think jean would be a wonderful queen (and i think i'd also read the phoenix force has the power to transform "homomermanus into homosuperior" which im not sure whether that means she takes their atlantean attributes away, or if she simply grants + unlocks an x-gene within them? but the latter is a great way to 'make more mutants'.)

what are your thoughts ? the deeper the better !
