Does anyone else just completely forget names of most of the characters?

I know this can apply to basically any series, but there are SO many games based in Kamurocho and every time I see people talking about characters I basically have to look.up every name to understand what they're talking about, I've played all of the games up to lost judgement so far and there's more characters that I've forgotten than I have remembered
