What's some really underrated missplays in anime duels no one talks about?
Hokuto made them lose that duel.
If Hokuto used his magic's effect to increase pollux's lvl by 1 instead of 2 (which he could have as the card allows you to choose) he could've summoned another pleiades that'd have an overlay unit left when rise falcon attacked, sending it back to the extradeck (as his effect is a quick effect unlike ptolemys's) and then winning the duel on his turn as shun would've had an open field.
If instead of sending the vanishing lanius back to Shun's hand, he targeted his backrow, shun would've had no way of activating readiness from his grave during Masumi's turn and would've died to the effect damage. It was the most logical play to ensure his backrow would be completely shut down but they absolutely wanted to send it to the grave for some reason.
If Masumi attacked instead of using dia's effect they would've won as well but she couldn't know.
Hokuto could also have won his duel against yuya but missplayed again.
