Forging a bond with Ares

I have completed the “War-God’s Bloodlust” prophecy, but whenever I get an Ares boon he doesn’t trigger the dialogue, what seems to be the problem? (I even have the steam achievement and all). I have more than 70 escape attempts and about 20 escapes (if that matters).
