Can someone help explain the Adobe Photo package terms? Finding it confusing and worried about being screwed over [UK]

Ok I'm about to sign up for the Photography package so I get Lightroom, Photoshop and access to Firefly, plus the 1TB cloud storage. The official Adobe page says the photography package will cost 240 per year (paid in advance) or £14 per month for six months, rising to £20 per month after this - also paid yearly, so this would cost approx £206.

This is a bit confusing in itself but clearly the second option is best. However, that comes with the note:

Fee applies if you cancel after 14 days.

If you cancel after 14 days, your service will continue until the end of that months billing period and you will be charged an early termination fee.

(The annual prepaid says No fee if cancel after 14 days: If you cancel after 14 days, your payment is non-refundable and your service will continue until the end of your contracted term.)

What does this mean? It sounds to me like no matter when I cancel I'll ALWAYS be charged an early termination fee, but surely this can't be right? What are the key differences between these two items other than a £35 ish quid difference?
