They stretch some (since they're leather) but less than the other shoes in the aggressive line from Tenaya (source: I've tried them all).

Iati’s made my big toe knuckle bleed after my first session. For the next 5 or 6 sessions I taped my toe knuckle but since then they’ve been fine. I wouldn’t say they have stretched much, but they have softened up so they put let pressure on my knuckles. I can wear them for an hour or so before I need a break. For reference I downsized 1.5 EU.

For now, I’m wrapping my big toe and standing on my toes on surfaces at home to break them in until I can go to the climbing gym. I hope it works.

I can only speak to the Mastia and Indalo, I haven't tried any of their other shoes but can recommend both of those. It looks like your foot is narrow in general so the Indalo is likely going to fit better.

I finally bought the Tenaya Iati. My street shoe size is 43, and these are 40 3/4 or 7 UK. After trying on at least 20 different pairs—Ocun Havoc, Scarpa Instinct VS, Tenaya Tarifa, Oasi—these fit like a glove, with no empty spaces anywhere. My big toe still hurts, but it’s tolerable for short periods. I hope the upper part will adapt to the shape of my toes over time and eventually become a bit more comfortable (even so, they were by far the most comfortable I tried; the others didn’t fit my foot well, and if I wanted them to “fit,” I had to size up too much, which left empty spaces everywhere).

Nice! I’m glad you found a pair that fits. If this is your first pair of aggressive shoes there is a period where not just your shoes need to break in but also your toe knuckles getting use to tight shoes like that. Skwamas were my first pair of aggressive shoes with a moderate downsize, I honestly thought I would never get use to the discomfort but after 3-5 sessions they were fine. I have a feeling after you get use to these shoes trying on those other shoes again won’t feel as bad. Nothing beats the comfort of Tenayas out the box, however. I still sometimes feel discomfort putting on any of my shoes whether its due to cold weather making the rubber harder, swollen feet from a long approach, or my toes simply going in weird - but that feeling passes pretty quickly once I’m on the wall.

I hope they adjust to my feet; right now, I’m using them while watching TV, trying to stretch them out. Just standing in them already hurts.
