Yeah, I mean I love the show and I'm still 100% here for every episode, but it's not very cohesive. No one seems to have a plan more than maybe two episodes ahead, and even that plan is more like a guideline than a set of rules. I was willing to give it grace on s7 because of the writers strike and shortened season, but it was like they took nine plots and threw them at the wall, then added what stuck. And in some cases, only parts of the plots stuck, but they used those parts anyway.

see that’s what frustrates me.. this isn’t a school project it’s a funded show with writers, producers, and directors. it shouldn’t matter how things are filmed since there’s a clear idea and literal script! i understand they can change them up a bit but it seems there isn’t anything to change they’re making it up 2 episodes at a time.
