Somewhat newly built PC suddenly became slow

Did you change battery settings at any point? Some computers will throttle your cpu/gpu.

I didn't adjust the power/battery settings but I checked it to make sure. It's on "Balanced" for Windows and Bios is the default setting (which is where I always had it).

Turn the windows to performance. It probably has nothing to do with your issue and won't fix anything, but there's a 1% chance it might. I'm not an expert, I just called out 2 of the more common reasons for this.
