A friend wanted me to make a spatula for their father for Christmas. I made it from a piece of an English walnut tree that came from their house. While the slabs from that tree are not ready yet, I was able to dry a small piece in my oven!

Two years ago I got to use a sawmill for the first time. This is the first thing I made from wood milled myself. A bookshelf for my mom's birthday/Christmas present. Ambrosia Maple.
