Why is there so much salt in Chinese recipes? You have the salt in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, chicken broth and then any other salt that you use. Then, the recipe says to add 1/2 teaspoon of salt. I never add it.
I’m trying to make a standard dinner Chinese dinner (from any region) with chicken breasts. I’m not sure where to start.
