Any corrosion fixes?

There are aluminum polishes designed for marine use. They will do a good job but they will take the lettering off if rubbed too hard. I use it sparingly with my bare fingers so I can feel how much it is cutting into the surface. The aluminum is brushed in a direction so rub in that direction. It will take several applications as the chemicals that remove the corrosion will be expended very quickly. Try it on an area and see if you are making progress before attempting the whole panel.

Just tried this, it cut right through most of the surface grime and left the lettering just fine but the corrosion is still there, thanks for the recommendation! Worked pretty well
