Anyone ever got rid of cronic migraine?

My migraines went chronic a few years ago as I hit perimenopause. I found Angela Stanton's book and while I found the eating protocol a little too much, it set me on my way. I'm sure I'm oversimplifying it, but learning to supplement with salt and eating low carb as well as a few other tricks helped me a lot. I moved on to heal your headache and started working with that protocol. Currently, I get a migraine about once a week or so. I feel certain that stress reduction is my next step, so I've been working on that.

Yes I actually follow the Stanton protocol as much as I can, I think it helps a lot, but I still get horrible attacks.. Also, many women get worse during perimenopause but as soon as the hit menopaus the are free from migraine. I have noticed that a lot of the women in the Stanton group that claims they are migraine free with the protocol are women in Their 60-70s and they would probably be migraine free anyway?

I was told a couple of times that the chances were good that I wouldn't have migraines at all once I hit menopause. They base this on the fact that I don't get migraines when pregnant. I'm sorry to say that that wasn't true for me.
