I mean, why wouldn't you want to put your village up on the floating island? Mine's over the Jungle (1:08) and it counts for the quest. Only a worthy visitor can reach this village. Either find the right geysers to go up, or build a powerful enough ship to be able to fly this high. No bus station.

I think Llama Island Heads are only found in the Mountains biome on flat-top plateaus. Is this true for everyone else who found them?

I only found 1 NaNa village along the coast of the two bigger islands. The other may be in the thick of the jungle. It's exactly as advertised: an "unnatural" (square) patch of dirt in a different color from its surroundings. Notice at 0:35, the square just popped into existence.
