Going in tmr knowing I’m fired lol. Feels surreal and scary but also silly.

Had a bumpy-delayed onboarding but finally took my oath, finished my I9, got my computer and am waiting on my PUV-LincPass appt. Gotta say federal service is bizarre, opaque but fun asf! It’s not as scary as I feared.

I’m beginning my first federal job next week 🥳 & all I could think of when hired was LBJ’s first public comments made at AFB after returning from Dallas. “I will do my best. That is all I can do…”. Nowhere near as important lol Ik, but I do feel a weight & duty on me entering into office.

Hey y’all! Just got hired (FSA/USDA🥲🥳) & am starting my EOD 12/30! I just wanted to ask why are federal benefits so meh? This is my first permanent non seasonal/OJT/per diem job and I was excited about benefits after hearing how supposedly good they are, but going over FHEB plans I’m disappointed.

Need clarification sry if it’s been answered. I have a S9 (bought before the ban. Love it) but am thinking abt upgrading to a S10 but still want the O2/Sleep Apnea features. Live near Canada (WA-BC), can I just go to Best Buy and get the cellular version and activate/use it here in the US?

Tmr is my job interview w/ the Fed Gov and all I can think about is being like Frasier w/ Mr. Rugly 🥹🥲😅 My idea going in is ‘just don’t be like Frasier’ lol.

Never paid attention to the detail that the T-1000 grabs another ammo clip from his belt. Which fuels one of my biggest Qs about him, if you were to touch any part of him does the mimetic poly alloy simulate the feel and texture of whatever it’s copying?

Hey y’all, recently lost my tribal gov office assistant job (life feels in free fall🥲). Applied 10/15 for an office analyst position that looks right up my alley, and today 10/31 received a USDA email saying I’m eligible (CO-5 idc how low) and to await employment consideration/interview. Good/bad?

Some of these I’ve never seen. That nighttime shot of the Twins under construction w/ the moon is gorgeous.

We are always told to Never Forget but left with nothing to remember but the horror of 9/11, the goal of this sub is to relish the years preceding that day.

Did William Henry Harrison accomplish literally anything besides shortest presidency and longest inaugural speech? Lol. Could he have been a great or even good president?
