That’s a little harsh they been together since they were 18 she was hurt that I did nothing to acknowledge her and rightfully so. I apologized and took her out to a nice dinner just her and I and all is well she accepted my apology we cleared the air now it’s behind us. She’s my DIL a close family member not a stranger off the street not my son’s gf of 6 months but his WIFE who has been around for many years I should have acknowledged them together.
