Wow I’ve never seen this plane before, and strangely it was manufactured (and about to takeoff) with only a single horizontal stabilizer on one side of the aircraft!

Not only was Gene Roddenberry a bomber pilot in World War 2 and a Pan Am pilot, but he was a hero who saved many people in a horrific plane crash and led them to safety during their hours long ordeal in the desert.
